Where is Gwendolyn going with such purpose?
To the patitos!
There are some wonderful new arrivals on our block - Eva, who is 2, Eva's mom and grandmother, and perhaps most exciting of all, Eva's 2 pet ducklings (patitos, in Spanish). Eva is pretty shy, so we haven't seen much of her yet. But multiple times per day, Gwendolyn shouts "titos!" and heads off toward Eva's house to see the ducklings.
And little wonder...
...besides being super cute, they enjoy one of her favorite activities, being in a pool of water. Pool of water plus ducks = "Wow!"

It amazes me that Gwen says "ocean" and she runs??? I can't believe how much time has passed.
