Cricket

We have had a house guest this past week, in the form of a wonderful dog named Cricket. Our friends Micki and Bob are in Colorado, and so we are taking care of Cricket. And realizing how much we miss having a dog in our lives.

Gwendolyn is having a great time with him. She insists on being the one to hold his leash during walks.

She reads him her favorite stories.

And she has even let him chew a bit on Oso, her now favorite stuffed animal.

Cricket reminds us a lot of Tulip, and makes us miss her like crazy. Tulip is doing great. She is living in Rhode Island with my parents, enjoying peaceful morning beach walks and lively interactions with the UPS men. But we love her and miss her tremendously!
