A bug has been going around Gamboa. We thought it had missed us but last night Gwendolyn was really hot, down to her very feet. The fever seems to be her only symptom, besides general droopiness.
One consolation: after several nomadic years without a TV, David finally bought us a new one last week. Perfect for a day at home sick. It rained most of the day and we stayed indoors, sleeping, eating bowl after bowl of mac and cheese, drinking juice, and watching Dora the Explorer.
In the innocent world of Dora, things always turn out well in the end. Even Swiper the Fox looks happy in this scene.

For those of you inclined to worry: The fever has now passed and Gwendolyn is back to her energetic self.
