A few weeks ago we went to a festival in Casco Viejo, the old part of Panama City. The concert was in La Plaza de la Catedral, the square by the old cathedral.
Lots of street vendors selling so-so food, some so-so music, but a beautiful part of town, and top-notch people watching.
Gwendolyn's favorite part might have been taking on and off my sunglasses.
At the festival, we met up with Carolyn, a friend visiting from Chile. Had some amazing ice cream together (ginger for me and Carolyn, basil for David!). Enjoyed the view of Panama's skyscrapers from across the bay.
