Sara Love

Gwendolyn loved everyone she met at the station - and she met many people from all over the world (Bulgaria, Belgium, England, New Zealand, Germany, USA...). But there is no doubt she had a special place in her heart for Sara.
We're not quite sure how this happened, but there seemed to be some kind of magnetic force between them. If the two were in the same room, it would only take a minute or two before Gwendolyn was in Sara's arms.

Sara spent countless hours with the Wren playing with her (Wren's) tractor.

Showing her the sites around town.

Sharing her food and drink.

And even, on occasion, allowing the Wren to feed her.

Many nights, to let David and I begin my experiments, Sara would watch the Wren for us. David and I would return to find the two of them cuddled up in front of Sara's computer. For a while we felt a little worried - the Wren really seemed to like Sara better than she liked us! But we realized that deep down of course she loves us. At one year old, she had already had the extremely good luck to have found a kindred spirit. Hurray for the magnetic Sara-Gwendolyn force!
