Until now, Gwendolyn's drawings mainly consist of scribbles, occasionally interspersed with lots and lots of semi-straight lines (which she calls "serpentes"). So maybe these snakes are her first representational drawings. The other day, though, she did a chalk drawing that was so different from her other drawings that we had to take a picture. You may have to look at it for a bit to see this - eyes, mouth, crazy hair? "Who is that?" we asked, "It's Wren!" Gwendolyn answered. A Gwendolyn self-portrait!
