Arrived!
We have arrived! And are slowly settling in. In addition to trying to connect our computers to the internet, retrieve stored boxes, and establish the lab, we're struggling with new challenges - where to buy high chairs, diapers and baby gates in Panama? But things are slowly coming together. Here are a few pictures to give you an idea of where we've landed, more to come.
David put up the hummingbird feeder, and within minutes it was teeming with honeycreepers.
Gwendolyn was impressed. She seems a little confused by all the new wildlife. She keeps pointing to the enormous rodents that wander freely throughout town (agoutis) and saying "dog! dog!"

Hi Rachel,
Your mom gave me your blog address this summer! I have been so busy but I finally checked it out today! Your baby is SO beautiful!!!!
I don't know if she told you but I am 36 weeks pregnant (also with a girl) and going to give birth any day now. I am SO excited that our children can play together in Chocorua and become the next generation!!!! So awesome!
I am due December 9th (or any day between now and then).
Your new backyard in Panama looks AMAZING lush and green! It reminds me of Singapore. What exactly are you doing there?
How old is Gwen now?
Can't wait to meet her! Will you be coming to Chocorua this summer?
Please stay in touch. My email is rachel.bowditch@asu.edu or you can facebook me.
