A Canine Companion

Some of you may be wondering what life with a newborn is like from the dog's point of view. How is Tulip dealing with this transition? Of course we can't know for sure, but here's a blog entry looking in to what Tulip seems to think.

At first glimpse, it seems that Tulip is not very excited about the new addition. Whenever Gwen Wren amps her fuss into full-fledged cries, Tulip discretely gets up and leaves the room.

The morning walk is considerably delayed (what is all this waiting around for nursing and diapers?). When we finally do get going, the pace is pretty slow.

A few sniffs, but it's hard to tell why everyone is so excited.

Couch time is a little compromised, but still pretty good.

But meal cleanup with two distracted parents has gotten really good. Just wait until the baby starts on solid foods.
