Another Pretzel Convert

Without any instruction from Wren, Rob immediately recognized the overwhelming goodness of the Bavarian pretzel. To the Wren's delight, he was able to broaden her pretzel horizons a bit. He discovered, for instance, that not only do the pretzels here come in different sizes, but the larger they are, the better (this is because, he explained to her, the ratio of soft-chewy-breadiness to overall pretzel increases with increasing size).

Rob and David discovered this giant-pretzel store one day in Munich.

They brought several home to try. Needless to say, Gwendolyn was very excited by the prospect.

But how to take a good bite when the pretzel is nearly half the size of your body??

Rob also discovered some Bavarian pretzel lore: apparently you can make wishes with pretzels the same way you can with the wishbone of a turkey. John and Rob gave it a try.

And the victor was...(drumroll, suspense!)

John! Here is he is, looking very pleased with himself. A pretzel victory is no small feat :).
