At 2 1/2 months and 5 1/2 months respectively, Gwendolyn and her cousin Maddie are not exactly playing together. We're not even sure how much they register of each other. But parallel playing in the exersaucers is definitely fun.

Here's my reading of the situation: Maddie is intently watching Gwen Wren, while Gwen Wren is intently watching herself in the mirror. They are both trying to figure out who or what exactly is this Gwen Wren creature!
Perhaps, then, their play is more perpendicular than parallel. :-)
